Sardis Seniors Activity Centre Society
TAI CHI HAS ARRIVED AT THE SSACS!!

The classes are designed for seniors and are focussed on promoting improved
health through a set of gentle movements.

A beginner program is held on Wednesdays from 9:00am to 10:30am. An advanced
program is held on Fridays from 9:00am to 11:00am.

Please note that the beginer program runs over multiple weeks and a new cycle will
begin in January. New participants are welcome to observe the program, but are asked to
wait for the new cycle to begin before participating.
HOLIDAY CLOSURES THIS MONTH

The Sardis Seniors Centre will be closed December 24th, 25th& 26th as well as January 1st 2026. 

 World Dance is cancelled December 17th, 24th, & 31st and will resume January 7th 2026. 

 Acrylic Painting will be cancelled December 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th.

Telling Tales is cancelled on Dec 20th.

Oriental Dance is cancelled on Dec 27th & 29th. 

Tai Chi and Canasta are cancelled on Dec 31st.

 Music Jam on December 30th is postponed to December 31st
as it will be part of the New "York" Eve party
.
NEW "YORK" EVE

After last year's fantastic event, we will be holding
another New "York" Eve this Dec 31, 6-9pm.

Please join us for a fun and festive New Year's Eve party.

We will be celebrating New Year's Eve on New York time, dancing to the music courtesy
of our Tuesday night Music Jammers. We will also have card games and board games set up.

Admission at the door is $5/person which includes sandwiches, snacks, coffee and
tea. You are welcome to bring additional snacks to share. The bar will be open to
purchase beer, wine and pop.

BEGINNERS BRIDGE WORKSHOP

We are offering a workshop that will cover the basic rules of bridge, 
introduce the concepts of bidding and discuss tips on winning play. 
 
Join us Tuesday, Jan 6 at 10:00! The $2 activity fee is applicable.

LEAD GUITAR WORKSHOP

The Jammers are looking to get an instructor in to teach a two-hour group lesson on lead
guitar beginners to intermediate playing level. The date and cost has yet to be decided
depending on the interest of the jammer participants. If you are interested, please indicate
your interest by putting your name on the sign up sheet on the bulletin board.
